I am a Postdoc in Operations Management at ESMT Berlin/ Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, working with Mirko Kremer and Francis de Véricourt.
I got my PhD in Business Administration from University of Mannheim in 2022, under the supervision of Moritz Fleischmann and Jochen Schlapp.
I hold a BSc in Industrial Engineering from Kharazmi University and an MSc from Sharif University of Technology in Iran, and worked as an Enterprise Architecture consultant shortly before pursuing my PhD.
My PhD dissertation focused on composing New Product Development portfolios with internal and external projects and how it impacts the efficiency of the firm’s project evaluation under resource scarcity. It also examined the role of in-contest performance feedback in dynamic innovation contests, characterizing the optimal feedback policy across a wide range of settings.
My current research, both theoretically and experimentally, explores how institutional factors influence the integration of AI technologies into organizational decision-making, particularly examining the over-reliance on algorithmic recommendations due to the asymmetric blame decision-makers receive from their superiors.
